The Canadian Association for American Studies is announcing the opening of this year’s competition for the annual Robert K. Martin Prize for the best monograph written by a current member of CAAS. This year’s prize will be for books published with a copyright date of 2015. The postmark deadline for submission is 28 March 2016.

The award will be announced at the CAAS general membership meeting, to be held during the 2016 Conference, “Homeland Insecurities,” in Fredericton, New Brunswick (October 21-23). The recipient will also be congratulated in a future issue of the Canadian Review of American Studies, and their book cited on the CAAS webpage (for a list of recent winners of our prizes, visit: http://american-studies.ca/caas-prizes/).
Members who wish to be considered for the award should forward three copies of their book postmarked by 28 March 2016 to:
