CAAS Conference 2010

Well, another annual CAAS conference has come and gone, with the requisite amount of excellent papers, carousing, and frantic rewriting in the hotel room an hour before one presents.

That last one may just be me.

I brought my camera with the intention of thoroughly documenting the proceedings, but as I do not seem to have the shutterbug affliction that most of Facebook has, I fell quite short of “exhaustive,” and had to settle for “occasional.” By which I mean, Friday afternoon and evening, after which my camera basically sat neglected in my hotel room.

Thanks have to go to Bruce Tucker and Christina Simmons for a superb conference; many thanks also to Candace Nast, without whom I gather the entire thing probably wouldn’t have happened. We could not have asked for a warmer reception and a smoother proceedings. Having been in the organizer’s seat two years ago when CAAS came to St. John’s, I know what a backbreaking chore it can be.

But on to the pictures!
