As you’ve seen in the last post, we’ve welcomed a new blogger on board: Chris Lockett, who works in the Department of English at the Memorial University of Newfoundland.  Chris was also recently elected as the new secretary of CAAS, and runs his own blog, here.  Chris is going to be the main blogger for the site now, and has some great ideas for providing new content and generating some discussion, to make this your first-stop site for American Studies.  Welcome Chris!

While I turn over the day-to-day blogging work to Chris, over the next few days, I’ll be updating the website to reflect our recent elections, and our ratification of an updated constitution.  Stay tuned!  –Jason
